Senior Research Fellow
Pëllumb is part of the Riinvest Institute since 2019, after a long experience in Kosovo’s banking sector, and international research experience. He currently holds the position of Senior Research Associate. He holds double BSc from the University of Pristina, Economics, and Political Science, MSc in Finance and Banking, and PhD in Economics and Finance from Sapienza University of Rome with a focus on the economics of foreign direct investment (FDI). Within the Riinvest Institute, Pëllumb has been involved in research projects related to socio-economic issues both in Kosovo and Western Balkans region, among others in the issues of economic growth and development, regional cooperation, monetary and fiscal policies, etc. Pëllumb is also engaged as a lecturer in International Political Economy, Development Management, and Sustainable Economics at Riinvest College. His main research interests include FDI, international trade, economic development, regional cooperation and integration in Western Balkans, and social policy. He actively publishes his research in international scientific journals, and actively participates in international conferences.
