Civic Energy for the Green Agenda
Green Action Space (GAS)
Amidst Kosovo’s dynamic development landscape lies an intricate balance of aspirations. On one side, the nation boasts untapped mineral wealth, notably coal, as a potential cornerstone for development of the energy sector. On the other hand, Kosovo is resolute in its pursuit of integrating with the European Union and embracing the transformative power of the green agenda. These aspirations, seemingly at odds, create a unique challenge—a juncture where the exploration of mineral potential confronts the imperative of decarbonization.
The Green Action Space (GAS) emerges as a strategic bridge, a harbour where the tension between these conflicting interests finds resolution.
This space, defined by its four pivotal pillars—Green Education, Advocacy, Research, and Green Economy—embodies the collective journey of finding common ground.
